Without a good tool, you can stand in front of an insoluble task. Axes and machetes have been used for thousands of years for the hard work, and as the time goes they had developed to the real universal tools.
Axe is a manual working tool, used mainly for chopping wood. Like other many tools, the axes were also used as the bladed weapons in the past. The axe is being used in food processing industry for cutting bigger pieces of meat or chopping bones of dead animals, which means the butchery. The axe is also being used by the carpenters, by woodmen in the past, but also for example by the firemen. The axe is one of the oldest human tools. In the archaeological excavations the axes made from stone were found, later the axes were made from bronze and finally from iron and steel.
Machete is the type of primitive bladed weapon, which has typically curved blade and the length about 50 to 60 cm. The machete is most often made from high-quality metal and has a wooden handle in the bottom, which enable doing quick cutting moves. The machete is useful in the agriculture, where it is used for cutting of the parts of plants by one cut, for what is the machete designed. The machete is also use for speeding up the movement in the overgrown terrain, where the passageway can be cut by the machete.
