Japanese chef's knife Chef/Gyuto Hisashige

This knife is ideal for versatile use. The long blade is ideal for all kinds of cutting. It is suitable for cutting meat, slicing fish, cleaning meat and fish, fruits and vegetables.

The blade of the knives is made of carbon steel. The higher carbon content makes the blade stronger, more durable and easier to sharpen. After use, the knife should always be dried dry and oiled, then placed in a dry place - this minimises the risk of corrosion. It retains its sharpness for a very long time and is excellent for grinding on water stones.
