The handle is made of durable POM (polyoxymethylene) plastic, which is strong, hygienic and resistant to high temperatures. The ergonomic shape and aluminium rivets ensure a firm grip and a long service life, even in demanding use.

POM plastic (full name polyoxymethylene, sometimes referred to as acetal, polyacetal or trade names such as Delrin, Hostaform, Duracon) is a technical plastic with very good mechanical properties. It is often used where high strength, rigidity and dimensional stability are required - which is why it is also ideal for knife handles.
Properties of POM plastic:
