Product detailed description

The versatile Gyuto knife in AUS8 steel with traditional design

The name MURAKUMO is taken from the legendary swords AMENO MURAKUMO from Japanese myths. The pitted surface of the blade resembles "gathering clouds" which is the original meaning of the Japanese word MURAKUMO. The lower surface of the blade below the ridge line is finished with the traditional "Kumorashi" method of stone powder grinding.

The beautiful Gyuto general purpose knife made of AUS8 molybdenum-vanadium alloy steel with impressive design and top quality. Robust chef's (kitchen) knife with impressive design and top quality. The knife spine and blade taper to a point for versatile uses such as slicing, cleaning meat, fruit and vegetables. The chef's knife is also suitable for cradling herbs, vegetables and nuts. The sharpness of the blade ensures minimal liquid leakage and your food will be full of juices and vitamins. Japanese art and new technologies make this knife unique and inimitable.

We recommend purchasing a sheath or blade protector for the knife.
