Japanese chef's knife Gyuto/Chef KIYA Suminagashi

Very sharp Japanese chef's knife Gyuto/Chef from KIYA Suminagashi Black series. The knife spine and blade taper to a point for versatile use of the extraordinary cutting force. Cutting, slicing, cleaning meat, fruit and vegetables - nothing will be a problem for this unique Japanese-shaped knife. The Gyuto chef's knife is also suitable for cradling herbs, vegetables and nuts thanks to its higher tip. The long blade and Asian-style octagon handle give you the best control when cutting and slicing. Japanese craftsmanship, precision and new technologies make this damascus steel knife unique and inimitable.

KIYA Suminagashi Black knives are made using the traditional Echizen blacksmithing technique. Charcoal heating with pine wood and subsequent hardening will breathe life into the steel! This creates a knife with a marble pattern with 11 layers of damascus steel.

The octagon handle is made of sandalwood. It is always neatly hand-polished, ergonomically shaped and designed for excellent hand control. This knife is suitable for right and left hand use.

We recommend purchasing a sheath or blade protector for the knife.
