Product detailed description
Composite cutting board HASEGAWA 800x400x25 mm
HASEGAWA FSR series cutting boards are an innovative solution that combines a hard wood core and elastomeric surfaces. The soft outer material effectively absorbs the shock of sharp Japanese knives, helping to prolong their sharpness. In addition, the plates prevent food from slipping, ensuring precise cuts. Thanks to this combination of wood and elastomer, the boards are up to 30-50% lighter than conventional wooden or plastic versions.
HASEGAWA plates are SIAA ISO22196 certified and meet strict Japanese sanitary standards for kitchen equipment, including EU 10/2011, EC1935/2004 and JP FOOD Sanit. Their surface is antibacterial and easy to clean with bleaching and disinfecting agents.
For better stability when working, we recommend placing a non-slip mat, damp cloth or paper towel under the board.

Use and care
To prevent discolouration, the board should be washed thoroughly with a mild detergent and dried thoroughly immediately after each use.
Do not use for heavy mowing and other heavy work.
Excessive slicing on one side of the board and on a small area of the board can result in numerous blade marks and visible increased wear. Replace the sides of the plate and use both evenly.
Do not use ultraviolet light to disinfect the board, as permanent discoloration could occur.
Visible stains on the board can be removed with suitable bleaching agents.
Excessive use of one part of the board may result in white discolouration due to the accumulation of knife marks. This is a visual effect only and does not disqualify the board from use.
If you find a wood core, stop using the board immediately.
Dishwasher safe (except for the NSF lightweight range).
|
Store and use the board away from sources of fire and heat, as deformation may occur.
Do not place hot pots, pans, dishes, etc. on the hob.
Use the boards in a temperature range of -30°C to 90°C.
If the board deforms, heat it to about 80 °C (e.g. in the oven) and then place it on a flat surface and weigh it down with something heavy. Leave the prepared plate until it cools down.
Do not use the cutting board for anything other than cutting food.
Be careful when cutting slippery or frozen products on the board.
Do not place freshly fried food directly on the plate as the material absorbs oil and fat at high temperatures, causing discolouration or staining of the plate.
