Japanese kitchen knife Nakiri KIYA Suminagashi

Very sharp Japanese vegetable knife Nakiri from KIYA Suminagashi Black 11 layers series. The shape of the knife resembles a meat cleaver, but don't be fooled. With the 170 mm long blade, you can easily cut all vegetables into small cubes or strips. The height of the blade allows you to easily scoop the cut ingredients onto the blade and transfer them to the pot or pan. Japanese craftsmanship, precision and new technologies make this damascus steel knife unique and inimitable.

KIYA Suminagashi Black 11 layers knives are made using the traditional Echizen blacksmithing technique. Charcoal heating with pine wood and subsequent hardening will breathe life into the steel! This creates a knife with a marble pattern with 11 layers of damascus steel.

The octagon handle is made of sandalwood. It is always neatly hand-polished, ergonomically shaped and designed for excellent hand control. This knife is suitable for right and left hand use.
