Product detailed description

Japanese vegetable knife Usubagata/Nakiri from Kanetsune Hon-Warikomi 2000-series

Extremely sharp Usubagata/Nakiri knife from Kanetsune Hon-Warikomi 2000-series. The core of this knife is made of Takefu Shiro 2 carbon steel which is sandwiched between 2 layers of SUS410 stainless steel. The shape of the knife resembles a meat cleaver, but don't be fooled. With the 165 mm long blade you can easily cut all vegetables into small cubes or strips. The height of the blade allows you to simply scoop the cut ingredients onto the blade and transfer them to the pot or pan. The high blade and oval handle with triple rivets provide the best control when cutting and slicing. Japanese precision and new technologies make this Takefu Shiro 2 steel knife unique and ideal for both home and professional use

For this knife we recommend to buy this wooden cover - saya, which you can find HERE.
