Japanese Petit knife for cutting fruits, vegetables and meat by Tosiki Nanbu

Very sharp Japanese knife for trimming fruits, vegetables and meat The Petit with a core made of Japanese Takefu V special grade steel is a useful alternative to a large chef's knife when you need precise cuts or, for example, for slicing green beans or other smaller vegetables and fruits. It is also suitable for skewering and slicing meat. The rounded blade allows a slight swing when cutting. Its sharpness is ideal for preparing sandwiches of all kinds. Japanese art and new technologies make this knife unique and inimitable.

KIYA knives are made using the traditional Echizen blacksmithing technique. Charcoal heating with pine wood and subsequent hardening will breathe life into the steel! This creates a knife with a marble pattern with 11 layers of damascus steel.

The oval handle is made of magnolia wood. It is always neatly hand-polished, ergonomically shaped and designed for excellent hand control. This knife is suitable for right and left hand use.
