Use
First of all, it is necessary to align the blade, this is important for very dull or damaged knives, insert the knife into the sharpener in a horizontal position and in this position pull the blade through the sharpener 2 to 3 times with a lot of pressure. Now you can start sharpening the blade, stretch the knife from the knife handle to the tip, the tip of the knife must be pointing downwards, apply only slight pressure on the knife, repeat 4-8 times. The last step of sharpening is to finish sharpening the blade, now choose the opposite procedure, when the tip of the knife is pointing upwards and with very little pressure pull the knife through the sharpener 3-5 times. If you use this step as much as possible in the kitchen, your knives will be consistently sharp. After sharpening, be sure to rinse the knife and sharpener thoroughly with water.
