2300 years ago, people in Japan started to forge the iron for creating the tools. During 14. century cutting tools appeared here, similar to today’s kitchen knives. During last centuries blacksmiths and craftsmen developed many kinds of steels and kinds and knives. In 2010 an innovative blade with self-regenerating edge was created.
