Japanese knife Slicer 240 mm, Grand Chef Takayuki

This knife is ideal for versatile use. The long blade with a sharp point at the end is ideal for all kinds of cutting. It is suitable for cutting meat, slicing fish, cleaning meat and fish, fruits and vegetables. The Grand Chef is very popular for cutting and preparing sashimi - the sharp tip digs into the fish and cuts it easily.

The blade is made of Swedish BOHLER-UDDEHOLM stainless steel. This stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and toughness, the hardness is about HRC 58. It retains its sharpness for a very long time and is excellent for grinding on water stones.

The handle is made of synthetic material POM, i.e. polyoxymethylene, otherwise also polyacetal. This material is characterized by high rigidity, wear resistance and flexibility. The full tang construction (the blade runs through the entire knife and the handle is riveted with 3 rivets) ensures overall structural strength. The handles are designed to fit perfectly in the hand and provide comfort. The blades are perfectly balanced and prevent hand fatigue. This ensures maximum control and accuracy.
