SPG STRIX® is an innovative powdered stainless steel developed by Takefu Special Steel Co. Unlike traditional powder steels that achieve high hardness by adding hard carbides, SPG STRIX® achieves hardness up to HRC 65 by strengthening the metal matrix itself. This approach provides excellent sharpness and facilitates grinding, which is often a challenge with high carbide steels.

SPG STRIX® represents a significant advance in metallurgy, offering cutters and users a material that combines the best of traditional carbon steels and modern stainless alloys.
