This cleaver is hand forged and made of D2 steel. After precise and careful hardening, tempering and annealing, it achieves a Rockwell hardness of 60-62 (HRC).
The beautiful handle of this chisel is hand-crafted from a piece of African Wenge hardwood that is oiled with Tung oil and waxed with beeswax. The handle is decorated with 2 decorative rivets.
Never wash the knife in the dishwasher. To maintain sharpness, hand wash and dry the knife immediately.
