Versatile

Kitchen knife is known as “versatile” and it is one of the most important knives, mainly in the European cuisine. It is characterized by slightly wider and longer blade than the universal (Utility) knife of which blade is narrowed to the centre. For home use, the knives with a blade of length about 18 to 24 centimetres are usually used. The professional chefs lean on the knives with blade of length about 24 to 33 centimetres. Japanese Gyuto has similar shape as the European chef’s knife. Cutting, slicing, cleaning the meat, fruit and vegetables – nothing will be a problem for this unique kitchen knife.
